CASEY & LANDiS
Casey and Landis Grace moved to Mexico when Landis was a baby.

They have two dogs, a cat, three chickens, a rooster and a duck.

Landis goes to a multi-cultural school where the kids speak many languages including English, Spanish, Italian and German.

Casey and Landis like to visit some of the outlying pueblos where the Mayans are friendly and welcoming.

The Mayans are a people who still live off the land;  they have fruit trees like avocado, apple, mango, and lime to eat fresh produce from and they live in simple homes like palapas.

They have pots and raised gardens with vegetables like jicama, tomatoes, onions, squashes, watermelons and a huge potato the size of a basketball called a Mayan potato.

There are usually many turkeys, chickens and ducks running around and their eggs keep breakfasts hearty with tomatoes and onions cooked with very spicy jalapeno peppers served up with tortillas.

Casey and Landis enjoy the diverse living styles in Mexico.
